Art Challenge
In winter 2023 we launched our inaugural Art Challenge, with funding from Creative Communities. Artists from anywhere were invited to view our collection online (more than 6,000 objects), and get inspired to create any work of art (creative writing, textile, photography, painting, sculpture, pottery etc.). We were thrilled to receive 21 works, which were displayed alongside the objects of inspiration from our collection for the month of September 2023. More than 400 people visited the exhibition.

Sponsors will be able to assist with:
- Defining prize category criteria (e.g. encouraging particular mediums or diversity of entrants);
- Attending opening event alongside invited dignitaries;
- Supplying the prize for their category (can be goods such as art supplies, cash or vouchers for services/experiences);
- Leverage of media coverage, including social media.
